What is Indian Head Massage?
Indian Head Massage originated from Ayurveda, an ancient system of medicine which has been practiced in India for over 1,000 years, focusing on the face, head, neck, shoulders and upper arms. A firm and gentle rhythm is used to release blockages and relieve tension and pain. Because this is done over the clothing in a seated position, it can be done anywhere and at any time, bringing massage to the workplace, to public functions, and even the beach!
